I heart online mags…
N.E.E.T. has a whole lotta DIY style with a dash of vintage sprinkled in for good measure. I only ever read or buy fashion mags for collage/ journaling fodder, so I am kinda bummed about not being able to cut it up. But, I can’t complain about the price! You know, I can’t tell if I’m showing my age or it’s just that the internet has made vintage so much more visible. Or perhaps, the internet has just changed my perception as to what is mainstream for the masses and shifted it to what is mainstream for me (a customized mainstream, if you will). Regardless, I’m seeing vintage as not only a fashion statement but a stylized way of life on the web. I think I am not only drawn to it style-wise, but because it kinda makes me less homesick by reminding me of home, SF in particular.
I (heart) digital magazines.
Still browsing around issuu but can’t complain. It’s just chock full of eye candy (and other wonderful junk).
