I just stumbled across El diario visual de Sonia Pulido. I should be sleeping but, instead, I find myself scrolling and scrolling through her back logs. Can’t get enough! I haven’t done much excavation so far but apparently her work is now being printed in El Pais. Right On!
I have been admiring Alisa’s style for quite some time now through her blog. She dabbles in several mediums and is a professional, full-time artist. I am currently taking her Sketchbook Delight class and I am loving every minute. She uses a very different approach to teaching than any other online class I have taken. She’s personable and I really appreciate her take on the process of creating and reflecting on where I come from. It’s not a 100% methods class and it’s not 100% about theory and the cerebral aspect of creating. It’s a little bit of everything and every lesson, I am reminded of the importance of play. She has uploaded loads of shots from pages of her sketchbook on her flickr page. I love being able to see her process unfold.
